A little about my career

I’ve had wonderful opportunities to work in a wide range of filmmaking sectors including documentary, charity, feature film and television, commercial, corporate and education.

I am particularly known for my attention to detail with branding, which I have acquired through prior careers in design and marketing.

As a transgender person and member of the queer community, I am particularly passionate about creating inclusive, impactful stories that amplify underrepresented voices and drive social progress.

And, equally important - I am a keen hobbyist dabbling in knitting, crochet and bookbinding.

Producer/Director

I work alongside my producing partner to create films with heart and humour. Our clients include Fair Tax, Marie Curie, Macmillan, Spectra, Herts. LEP, and Q-Code Media. Within our team, I specialise in socials-first promotional films, mini-documentaries for charities, and animating explainers for non-profits.

No matter whether our clients are film studios, corporations or charities, we scale our productions based on the project’s needs. I have coordinated and led large crews for high-budget briefs and worked on-the-ground in small teams - directly handling the shooting, lighting and sound.

Filmmaker (Freelance Contracts)

I create content for high-profile clients such as AstraZeneca, BAT, British Airways, International Airlines Group, and Shelter. Film briefs I have directed and produced include initiative launches, recruitment promos, webinars, explainers, and event coverage. As So-Media’s clients are based globally, I have frequently collaborated with stakeholders across Europe, Dubai, and the US. 

Highlights with So-Media include leading on content creation for IAG’s sustainability campaign ‘Flightpath to Net Zero’ and co-directing their recruitment film ‘We are GBS’ which was shot across three stunning international locations .
